I am so excited to have your child in our kindergarten class this year! Our classroom is a place where we learn, grow, laugh, make mistakes, try again, and celebrate all the little wins along the way.

This website will be a helpful place for families to find classroom information, important dates, homework expectations, resources, and updates throughout the year.

About Our Classroom

In our kindergarten classroom, we focus on building strong academic skills while also learning how to be kind, independent, responsible, and confident learners.

Throughout the year, students will grow in reading, writing, math, science, and social-emotional skills through hands-on learning, small groups, classroom routines, and lots of opportunities to practice.

My goal is for every child to feel safe, supported, challenged, and excited to come to school each day.

First Week Fun

Our first week of kindergarten will include School Supply Boot Camp on Wednesday and Thursday!

During Boot Camp, students will learn how to properly use and take care of classroom supplies, practice important classroom routines, and show what responsible kindergarteners can do. They will also be working toward a fun surprise to celebrate all of their hard work at the end of Boot Camp!

I have also attached our lesson plans for the week so families can get a little peek at what we will be learning and practicing during our first days together.
