Penny Wars will take place from 4/30/2018 to 5/11/2018. Parent volunteers are needed to count pennies during this  competition. 

Send your Scorpions to school with pennies in order to partake in a school-wide competition. Pennies count positively, while silver coins and dollar bills will count negatively towards classroom totals. The winning class will receive a pizza party. 

Thank you so much for the donations parents!!! We are set on tissues and paper towels. We could use a few more clorox wipes if you could spare them. Art showcase is coming and it gets messy in here. ;-)

The students and I are almost out of tissues, paper towels, and Clorox wipes. Class donations are greatly appreciated. :-)

Hello Families,
Couple things I wanted to let you know about.
~This Friday is 80's spirit day. 
~ No school next week AND the following Monday for Spring Break. See you back on Tuesday, 4/3.
~There is no homework for Spring Break, except their assigned reading book for Literature groups. Every student was assigned a literature book this week. Please see the schedule below for the day your child must have their literature reading, notes, and job completed each week. The first job will be due the week we come back from break. Please ask your child what book they have been assigned, how many pages they need to read, and what job they were assigned for the week. They do get time in class to complete, but may require more time at home.

Hello 5th Grade Parents, 
Tomorrow is the field trip and we are so excited! Students will need to be at school no later than 7:30 a.m. tomorrow. We are also asking students to bring their backpacks to carry their snacks, lunches, and drinks for the day.  

Tomorrow is Science Showcase, see you there!
Thursday 2/15 is Twin Day!
No School this Friday, 2/16 or Monday, 2/19 for Presidents weekend.
