Let's get Mooving!

We offer Fall, Winter, and Spring Sports for our 5th-8th graders, please see below for each season broken down into sports and the estimated time of year. Sign-ups Basketball are linked below. Soccer will go out when it gets closer to their time of year. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from games. Practices will be held on campus after school on designated days. It may vary depending on the season.

Fall Sports - September - October (Games start the week of September 11th)

If you have any questions or are interested in coaching any of these sports please get in touch with Mrs. Olson at k.olson@sycamoreacademycharter.org.

We are also looking for parent volunteers to coach the sports so please let me know if you are interested, otherwise we will not be able to have these teams.

Stack Up Letter 2023 - Wildomar

November 15th and 16th we will be participating in the Stack Up! Challenge trying to help break the world record for most people sport stacking at the same time! Your child will be completing this during their PE Time.

Education:

I attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and graduated with a Bachelors in Education certified in K-12 PE & Health.

This will be my 9th year here at Sycamore Academy and 10th year living in California.

I am the only Physical Education Teacher for all of UPK-8th grades.

I have also attended the California Middle School Physical Education Workshop (CMSPEW) the past 6 summers. This year I was honored to be the Co-Director of this workshop.

About Mrs. Olson:

I am originally from Wisconsin "Go Pack Go" (big Packer fan!).

We are an active duty military family (Air Force). I lived in Okinawa for 4 years. I am married and I have three dogs Lily & MoMo and the newest edition Frida.

I love all things Cow (hence my page) and I think it's important to always be mooving!

Things I like to do in my free time:

We do a lot of camping and dirt biking in the desert. I am always up for a hike or an outdoor adventure. I also enjoy road cycling, Crossfit, Spartan racing, yoga, running, and creating art.
